Just received my February issue of Car and Driver. They have done a short take on the Nitro R/T. They tested acceleration at 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds with quarter mile time of 15.4 seconds at 90 mph. All this with an overall observed fuel economy of 18 mpg. You know they abuse vehicles during testing, so this mileage sounds really promising. They noted the R/T is 2.8 seconds faster to 60 than the SXT/SLT with automatic. Can hardly wait, how about you?

I'm going to have to get my stop watch out and see what mine actually does. At least the 60 mph anyway. I don't think they will let me on the North Carolina Speedway to go faster. But we do have the Rock dragway. Maybe!!!

WHOA!!! Definetely deserving of that R/T badge. Imagine the times that 4.0L is gonna put out once people started squeezing extra ponies out of it. Very respectable for an SUV!! WOW!!
