Did the '07 Nitro & Jeep Liberty use the same stereo? If not ddid any Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler use the same stereo as the Nitro?

Appears the 07 Liberty's used a mix of both older radio styles and in later builds the newer model which has the same as the Nitro. The new Jeeps, Vans, and other cars also have the same radio as the Nitro. It must be the high speed bus model to work in the Nitro!

I'm asking this because Blaupunkt has this amp thats plug n play but not for the Nitro.

What speaker system do you have now? The 4, 6, or 8 w/sub? Since adding the REN MyGig and Kickers my system rocks with the factory amp and 8 speaker system w/sub. $500 is quite a bit just to add a few more watts than the factory amp, IMO.

Not sure if you would have the wiring harness like the factory amplified system?? Would assume yours would go from head unit to speakers?? Do you have the tweeters on the rear door (6 speaker system)?

I still find it odd the way Dodge made the wiring harnesses for the Nitro. Usually it's a universal harness with all the connectors in place (cheaper to manufacture and normally more cost effective). On the Nitro there are numerous differences in the wiring harnesses.

Its a six speaker system w/ the tweeters in the dash, 2 Kickers in the front doors & 2 Kickers in the rear doors.
