12v unswitched power outlet?

aside from re-wiring, is there an easy way to change the front 12v outlet from switched to unswitched?

hey AirJunky...
I got some LEDs that I want to install under the dash to illuminate the floor, any advise on how I could accomplish that? Is there anything I should look out for?
