2007 can't remove actuator because of this

Thanks. I've got one, but the screws
are T 20

The actuator humms ( i assume travels) as you slowly rotate the mode knob from one position to the next, except for the
Defrost and foot position & full defrost position. But in any position heat goes to the a/ c vents( cabin).
