My Nitro R/T 4.0 has what sounds like a deep rod knock on acceleration. If you do a slight "brake-lock" up to about 1,500 RPM, the knock is there but somewhat intermittent. The engine also surges at speeds of 45-65 and it's driving me nuts. Could the knock be caused by a bad fuel injector? The car is 6 months old and has just under 10,000 miles. I get hives and diarea going back to a dealership so I thought I'd ask the experts first.
