I really need help finding a Clockspring for a 2007 dodge nitro 3.7L 4wd.
I ordered a Clockspring and it was the wrong one. I have an extra connection, I believe it’s for traction control . part# 56046530AE. Can anyone cross this with a current part number? The dealer will not give it to me.

and this pn: 5156106AE alt pn: 5156106AD, 5156106AF, 5156106AG, 05156106AG

probably one of those?

steve white lists the first one: 5156106AC fitment includes 2007 Nitro SLT

Ebay has them for as high as 398.32 and as low as 25.92 depending on which pn you search.

Does anyone have the ability to look up the actual part number using my Vin# 1D8GU58KX7W681766 ? I don’t think any of these will work. My clock spring has three connectors in the back. The third is for, what I believe is the angle sensor for the stability control option.

Well, just googling "mopar 56046530AE" yielded some results:

an ebay listing showing pn 56046530AP, photos show a 3rd connector on the left side of the back

Tried Rock first, but they sent me the wrong one, and I needed my Nitro back on the road quickly, so I hit the local AZ, and they had it sitting on the shelf.. First one they pulled, didnt match up to mine, but Luckily I already had it out, and the Parts Rep was quick to find the other that he had, which matched mine perfectly..

Do you have the part number. The first one I ordered was incorrect and didn’t have enough connections in the back. I ordered a new one and installed it. Now when you put the brakes on it makes a horrid clicking sound.

I purchased a clock spring that has all the connections I need. Now it makes a horrible clicking sound when I put the brakes on after driving it for a bit. I don’t know if this is an issue with the clock spring I installed or just a coincidence and something else is wrong. My wife stated that she tried to pull over to the side of the road and the car drove into the curb.

there is a specific proceedure to follow when installing a new clockspring, it's all to do with the correct steering angle, the clicking sound is most likely the ABS kicking in because it thinks the wheels are not traveling in a straight line,

Would you happen to have a link explaining how to install the clock spring? Most everything I have found just goes over the basics. They don’t really show any specifics

its all about the steering been set straight ahead and the clockspring been installed bang on mid point,
you need a workshop manual, Tradebit.com have some cheap downloads (about $15), all petrol Nitros are the same from 2007-2011 (apart from some small changes in the later years),
