    Hi
Anyone know where I can find the 2008 Dodge Nitro Wiring Diagram Manual ?
I'm especially looking for the wiring diagram of the 42RLE automatic transmission to the ECU, wiring harness with wire colors.

You can buy a FSM from Dodge. Short of that, there is not much out there.
The PDF E-bay manuals are junk IMO.
There are 5 plugs going to the trany, and 3 going to the PCM.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

    Tnx for the info
Couple of days ago my Nitro didn’t shift, and I got an OBD code P0765 solenoid D failure,
I replaced the trany solenoid, it worked for couple of days, and again the same problem.
So I’m guessing that something is wrong with the PCM or harness that fail the solenoid.
Do we have in this forum the PCM pinout and wires colors of the trany solenoid connector ?

No. Off the top of my head there are 25 Pins for the trany and over 100 for the PCM.
I assume you already traced wires to be sure none are chafed, or burnt from the exhaust?

    I did a little research on the error P0765;
This can be set by 3 solenoid continuity test fails, or one fail during a test which ran because of a gear ratio or pressure switch error.

Looking at what I have, the transmission solenoid/pressure switch is the one you will need to test, (Brown connector[10 way]) Pin 2 (YL/LB wire). Going to the PCM C4(Black green[38 way]) connector, Pin2 (YL/LB wire).
Do not prob the PCM plugs holes directly! This will cause them to become out of shape and not make good contact when plugged back in.
Ohm (Ω) from pin to pin. If above 5.0 ohms look for an "open".
Ohm (Ω) between one side or the other, to ground. If below 5.0 ohms, look for a short to ground.
Key on, engine not running, both plugs out, check for a short to B+.

The above is contingent on no other errors involving the gear ratio or pressure switches.
The other test involve using a Dodge scantool to activate the solenoids.

    Tnx, I will check
The OBD is giving another code P0870 pressure sensor C,
The sensor also was replaced in the previous fix.
    Does it change anything ?

Yes, if it is still present. You can run the same three Ohm (Ω) tests above, same parameters except voltage. If above 5 volts check for a short to B+

Trany pin 6 to PCM C4 pin 22. Dg/Tn wire.

The voltage tests may not work without a scantool to activate the circuits.

have you checked the tranny fluid level is correct ?.

just so you know that Low or High fluid level is not causing the problems.

I found this wiring diagram in the net , it could be usefull for the forum.
Solenoid D in DTC P0765 refer to which solenoid, LR, 2-4, UD or OD ?
And pressure sensor circuit C in DTC P0870 refer to which sensor, LR, 2-4 or OD ?

Is there any way to check solenoid and pressure sensor without the scantool ?

I checked all wires to solenoid connector, they are all connected to PSM connector and not shorted to ground,
Didn't done the voltage test yet.

P0765 can be any one that failed the test/s or errors involving the gear ratio or pressure switches.
P0870 can also be any one that fails a test.
    Without a scantool no.
Both the above DTC can be caused by low fluid, or to much trany fluid. IE air in the fluid.
