could be anything, first thing is to check for any fault codes,
2008 nitro 2.8crd uk spec power loss
Hi all driving my nitro approximately 60mph then with out warning engine power dropped off pulled in there is no warning light on dash and no smoke from exhaust with will and run but engine now running very lumpy, will rev but not very responsive any ideas would be very welcome

This happened to me a few years ago on my 2009. It was a wiring problem. Some of my wiring was shorting out due to age and wear.
