well, if last year's model switchover is any indication, they should stop production on 2008s around in June sometime and have a short switchover period then begin 2009 production in July. I haven't heard any particular dates for this year yet.

I am hoping that is not the truth as I had planned on getting another Nitro when my lease is up with this. I will really be upset if that happens.

that would make ours that much worth more to us, and CHAOS do you have the option of buying yours when the lease is over? could be an option if you still wanna be part of the Nitro world

That would royally suck if they stopped production as us owners would be left with our asses hanging out in the wind!!
The Nitro still has a laundry list of mechanical problems and production issues. If they stop production now lots of them would remain unresolved and we'd basically be @#^*#!

I wonder if the Journey is replacing the Nitros... :thk:similar in size (between Caliber and Durango) however in my opinion not nearly as cool. Any thoughts?
