Hi,
I got my 2010 Dodge nitro this year in February, so im fairly new, but it has been shutting off completely the last few day so I took it to O’Rileys and we found the cables on the positive batter terminal were damaged I don’t know how that happened but I added some pics, they were going to cut the cord and put on new terminals but said the previous owner had already cut it and I need to buy a positive cable because it would be to short. Now I can’t seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone have an ideas were I can buy one or any other options? Thanks

here's one

if you google search for "mopar 56047254AF" you can find others.

here's another -- oddly, this link says $138.60, but when I log in it then says: MSRP $126.00, sale price $89.67.
So, make an account first...

Or, go to rockauto.com, click on your year/make/model -> Electrical -> Battery Cable and see lots of options for Deka brand individual cables.

If you look up that part number on stevewhiteparts.com and check fitment, it lists 2007-2008 R/T,SLT,SXT.
AFAIK nothing changed re battery wiring harness in subsequent years. It's just cable, and nothing moved around--battery, starter, and alternator are all in the same place, so length should be the same.

newer revised part numbers:
56047253AH lists fitment for all models, 2007-2009 years.
56047254AH lists fitment for all models, 2009 and 2010.
When the fitment years for part number revisions overlap you can use any of the revisions just fine. Sometimes even when they don't overlap.
Often the listing says "replaces:" and lists all the prior revision numbers.

also one of the cables on the Positive terminal is a fusable link :

as the black cable from positive terminal passes down the side of the battery it changes colour to Blue, then back to black, this Blue part is a fusable link, should not be replaced with a standard piece of battery cable, maybe make a small cable link or as 'Jan' says with the correct battery the cables are correct,
