The cranks sensor could be a possibility. But first things first, check the plugs. Then go from there.

Good deal.
Probably wouldn't hurt to run a can of seafoam in the fuel tank to clean the injectors after a while. I would not do it right away just because the seafoam does make it run a little rough till its worked through the system. When you decide to do it, also run a little into the brake booster vacuum line, to clean the intake.

Could be a leaky injector or check valve in the fuel pump. Is the gas cap seal in good condition?
Try turning the key to the "on" position but do not try to start it. Turn the key off, then back to "on", listen for the fuel pump to run and shut off. Then try to start it.
If it were a heat soaked sensor, in theory, it should be worse after a long drive not a short one.
How is the operating temp when you shut it down?

See post 11 above also.

The fuel pump does run and shut off everytime but i did that when its cold I can also hear two clicks when the pump is running. When it did it today it was after running it for a while Then shut it off then came back out and it did the sputtering on start up. This happend again when i got home and did the same thing.
Not sure I understand what you are saying. You did a key "on" not trying to start it, then key off cycle, before trying to start it?
Hum, :thk: I was thinking maybe it was not at full operating temp, causing it to enrich the fuel mixture like on a cold start. Essentially choking it out.

Gasoline fuel pressure should be 58 psi +/- 5 psi.
