I bought a 07 nitro at auction that was throwing egr code figured it would be an easy fix. On getting it home and inspecting it I found obviously the motor had been replaced with a pre 07 3.7 so there are no holes for egr and the metal pipe to the egr was just hanging with cut off. Is there any way to bypass egr and stop throwing code????

you can't bypass the EGR, the vehicles computer is constantly monitoring exhaust gases, you can clear the fault codes, the engine will run for a certain amount of time before it sets the code again,
