Hi everyone,

My trusty crd Nitro has just reached 400,000 kms! 🥳
I am preparing to give her a bit of love this will include a good once over inspection and typical service and detail.
I will also be changing the timing belt, water pump (+ coolant flush) and serpentine belt.

My question is: What servicing recommendations do you guys have for this many kms?

I have recently done a full fluid change so they are all good for now.

Unbelievable .. I never expected a nitro to reach this mileage. Sorry, but my impression is that you are the expert to give us the hints and advices how a nitro can do this.

How often do you change engine oil? Please tell us how the car is used .. long distance runs?

As i said .. You are the expert and did nothing wrong until now, I know nitros in germany who break down and haven't done 100 tsd.

Mine has over 300,000km. Timing belt every 100,000; gearbox oil every 50,000; engine oil 10,000; axles 25,000; fuel filter once a year. 75% city driving.

In agree, Jan. our intervalls are easy to remember.

I assume you are master expert of timing belt change?
