Hello!

I'm new owner (european model) and new to this forum, maybe only guy from Finland here?

My 4x4 RT has 8speaker+1sub with 384w amp, 6cd/mp3/etc.. but it's not MyGig system.

Is it possible to buy MyGig unit and make change? What do i need exactly and is there anyone who has done it? I suppose i need some sort of GPS antenna atleast... if this can be done, can i operate it with my current steering wheel controls?

Surely i could go with aftermark Pioneer AVIC D3 system, but with that one i think steering wheel controls will stop working, right?

Check out the MyGig subforum. You will need the high speed canbus version of the MyGig. For GPS you will need the GPS antenna. For Sirius, you already have the antenna. For U-Connect you can either go aftermarket (talk to Susanne in the NAV-TV supporting vendor forum about BlueGig), or wait for the factory wiring harness to become available.

Yes, the steering wheel controls will still work with the MyGig, and it's pretty much plug and play. Not sure if there is an adapter yet to allow the steering controls to work with aftermarket HUs.
