A.C. not blowing out as it used to, it still comes on and blows out some air but it sounds like it is forcing all the air back out. You can hear it blowing hard behind the glove box dash area instead of blowing out the vents. The air it is pushing out the vents is mediocre at best for coolness. It did this once last year but fixed itself and I forgot until today, long hot 90 degree road trip. Could it be a relay switch or would low Freon cause this reaction. 2011 dodge nitro heat 4.0 L
    TIA

You probably just need to have freon added to it. Just like an engine will work harder and get louder when low on oil, an AC will do much the same when low on freon.

Open your glove box, push in on the rear sides to drop it forward.
Back in there you should have a little door with air filters in it. Replace the filters.
Also, if you hit the recirc button the air being passed into the housing will come from inside the rig, not outside. This does make it louder behind the glove box, because that is where the inside air is being pulled from. Using recirc also makes the A/C more efficient, since in theory, it is cooling already cooled inside air. Instead of having to cool hot outside air.

The problem is gone today, so I think it may be a relay switch or control going out?

Could someone possibly find and provide me with a complete diagram of the 2011 Dodge Nitro cooling/AC system? I have been pretty lucky to be able diagnose most my issues and repair them myself...so far (fingers crossed/knock on wood)
