Morning all.....quick question for you - my Nitro is the 'skinny' version - so not many bells & whistles compared to most of you - but I'm not able to 'close' off any of my a/c vents. I'm curious if this is in all Nitro's? Initially we thought the a/c was a bit wimpy, but truthfully, when moving down the highway, I'd like to shut my vent off and just allow the passenger side to circulate air.....and I can't do it :thk:

Sorry NitroTech - should have specified - I would take either to be honest - but the louvers don't even close fully. They will go hard right or hard left, but not completely close. Is that normal? And that's on all the vents - I checked thinking the driver side was just being trickey.

Ahhh. I think we're talking about different parts of the vent. The little wheel at the bottom of the vent won't close off, this is normal. The thumb knob on the horizontal louvers can be closed off. That's the only way to close the vents. :)

:woohoo::woohoo:Thank you NitroTech for the PLAIN ENGLISH reply - I feel a bit like a grrrlll.......but will gladly admit that I wasn't using enough umph on the horizontal adjustment! It has a bit of a spring that if you let go too quickly, it reopens again - BUT - they will close - THANK YOU!!! :D
