Hi y'all, I am getting my new SX Dodge Nitro on Thursday and am pretty stoked. I got a few mods already, 20" chromes, colour coded bumpers, tinting, tow pack etc but am looking at what I can do with the stereo.

Now I have somehow justified with the missus that I can get a new car but will not have access to large moolah for an audio upgrade. So what I am looking at doing is as follows, please comment or add good feedback.

1. Keep stock head unit
2. Add 4 channel amp
3. change four speakers to some kind of coax
4. No sub at this stage but may change down the track
5. Want it to look as stock as possible

So a few questions.

What size are the speakers as standard?
How do I go about hooking an amp up to the speaker outputs from the stock head unit?
Where do I hide the amp?

I am lookign at doing it stages, ie speakers first then amp etc.

Ok so I have founf out that the stock speakers are 6 1/4". So pretty easy to replace and I may place amp under back tray. Thinking of a bazooka type sub so I can remove when I load up the back.

Thanks NT, the stock head unit is already a 6 disc player. Pity my model doesn't come with the Infinity upgrade pack.

Im having trouble finding anywhere to purchase the PAC add an amp - C2A-CHY2 . Where can i buy this??? I tried Crutchfield and they didn't have the NITRO one.
