Saw an ad over the weekend, it looked cool! Visited the dealership, and walked out with Nitro. Sits high, feels bigs, good ecomomy, looks sharp. I had been considering something new for months as current lease was ending. I needed something economica with good mileage, but did not want to sacrifice ALL style. Nothing on the market grabbed my attention.. until Nitro.

After seeing a Nitro Road Test on Speed Channel I also got interested, too. Now I want an R/T when they become available. This Site also added to my desire. Since I have a 95 Grand Cherokee I bought new and retired I thought it would be my last new SUV (Wife has a new 06 Ford Eddie Bauer Explorer 3 seat that is pretty cool with the Mustang GT engine) but the Nitro has some style. Nothing else like it! Sure I could buy another new Jeep Cherokee with a $4,500 off sticker, but why? No one would notice. I sent my Salesperson an e-mail today asking about full-time 4X4 availability (see other post). This is what I presently have and it is shown as a no-cost add-on, but other post says it may not be available till 7/07? WOW Why even show it as an add on if it won't be available for 7 or 8 months. Hope this info is in error. Will share Dealer response when received. Yes it has grabbed my attention, too. Now I do want a new SUV.

The saleman used the words "dark Khaki", I will confirm on paperwork and write back.

No, there is only light khaki no dark khaki

Welcome and I am sure whatever colour you got you will enjoy but Nitrowill is right only he one version of Khaki .

You know..got to thinking. There could be two colors of Khaki. Depends if you are looking at it in the daylight or at night!!

That is somewhat true David. I went by a dealer that is on my way to work. They had a khaki sitting there for about a week. When it was a dark cloudy day, the khaki seemed to be a darker shade. When it was a sunny or brighter day, the color seemed much lighter. I guess my nitro will just look grumpier on the cloudy days!
