I know this was awhile ago, but have you had problems since? I am having the same problem but am being told I need to replace the condenser as well or compressor will fail again due to contamination.
Air conditioner compressor
My vehicles has been making a humming/whistling sound from under the hood. I recently took it to get check out and they first put a new alternator on it, however that did not fix the noise. I took it back in and they are now saying that it is the air conditioner compressor. Is anyone having the same problem or does anyone have any suggestions???
