Are you looking to black out the actual headlights or just paint the inside trim piece black?

We can offer a painting service for all Nitro members. Pm us for pricing, and the job can be done in just a few days.

Also if anyone is interested in tailight tinting I would love to offer this service as well.

Did you do the headlights yourself? Is it a film? Is it required to take out the headlights to do this?
its a tint film that i purchased off ebay comes pre cut and ready to install

did it myself (goes on just like window tint) and did not require me to remove the lights

i used the film so i could remove it if i ever decided to go back to a non blacked out headlight

Looks great bob! i wonder if i could do something like that with my drivers side mirror . Iam finding myself holding my hand over it from the glare of other head lights. not every car or truck but enough to make me want to try something. Does anybody else get that ?

I find that a lot when I'm on the unlit sections of the 401 expressway. I usually tilt the mirrors down a bit and adjust the rear view mirror.

I love the look, especially on a black vehicle, but I just spent a lot of money to put in brighter HIDs, I certainly don't want to block the light now? For the mirror question, I would think that this film in black or blue would be perfect? My son's car came with a blue tint on the side view mirrors and I think that is to cut the glare from car next to you on a highway.

Going to have to look into that as well. Not sure if I would go with a thin blue or a really light smoke color though. Great idea!
I have HIDs to go in also. I want MORE light not LESS! :chuckle:
I know, some people do it just for the look.

this is a nice look, but safety is a concern and the nitro lights suck:eek:,i'll get the hid's sometime in the future,as far as lights from other drivers the window tint helps a lot, plus the inner rearview mirror has an auto tint that can turned off:cool:
