Like most of you, I use and abuse my NITRO dearly.
I have a heavy foot and love to hear the power of this 4.0L

This also means that I'm on the brakes a lot more as I weave in and out of city traffic.

Recently started hearing some light chirping from the brakes. Is anyone else encountering this?

Haven't noticed any chirping with my brakes, more like a grocking noise.. The best way I know to explain it is, it's like the noise you would get from old car shocks when the front end dips. It's not the shocks though, as it's only happening from the driver side front. It makes the noise when I come to a more abrupt stop, and it also happens the first time I put the vehicle in gear and let go of the brake pedal. It's like that one brake pad is sticking or doping something weird. I haven't changed my pads since I got it, and it's at 18000 miles.. Maybe I just need to change them and rebleed the brakes (I really gotta read the manual..)

This probably doesn't help you in the least with your problem. :)

Thats exactly it. The only time I get this noise is when I come to abrupt stops (ie all the time) and the front end dips.
I'm pretty sure it's brake related and not shock, as I tried pushing down on the front of the vehicle and couldn't make the noise. Unforunately it's gonna be cold here for at least another month or two and I won't be able to get the tires off until then (When I put the summer rims back on!!! w00h00!). At that time I was gonna change the brake pads and see if that helped with the problem. So I won't be of any help til at least then. Sorry.

Happened to me a couple of times shortly after I got my rig (a 2008), under abrupt stop conditions. The dealership suggested the brake pads needed to settle in. Must have worked, as I haven't had the sound since the first week I had the rig.

Took the bad boy into the dealer and they didnt notice anything wrong with brakes

Rotated the tires seemed to fix it.
The work order also mentioned installed wheels as per Chrysler spec

I guess my body shop didn't quite install the wheels right when I last put the winters on
