That looks to be the Nitro built by HuffDaddy1982 back in February. If it isn't it, it is one identical to it. The tires were the give away for me as they were the ones I suggested he use. I am pretty sure that is the dealership that he works for. It appears that all the pix that he had posted back in February are now gone from this site. The only difference I can see now is they have painted the wheels to match the vehicle. They were originally black.

Wow, I didn't think you guys were thinking like I did about this. I don't really like anything about it. The rims certainly do not work. The paint would be alright I guess if it would have been kept the same as it goes down back by the rear side glass. It isn't kept straight there for some reason and I think it makes it look funny.

Couldn't agree more. I'd like to see a Nitro with a wide white stripe or two running the lenght of the vehicle. That might look OK, ....

Hey AirJunky ... that looks better. The symmetry is maintained, and the black pinstripe adds to the appeal. The eBay one has an abortion of a paintjob, where the 'lines' do not flow properly. I don't know if I was clear about the white lines in my post though ... check out the pic ...

BTW, what do you mean by 'threadjack'?

Hehe, threadjack is to "hijack" a thread by posting off topic. But since the topic is kind of going the way of this paint scheme sucks, maybe this isn't so off.

I've considered a few different paint schemes, basically adding black to the existing khaki. Maybe a big wide stripe down the side similar to a Silverado? Or rally stripes like you pointed out. But having owned two R/T cars in the past, I saw owner's pet peeve about people painting "R/T stripes" where they didn't belong....... like their posing or a phony.

To each his own but I'd have to pass on that one. It just looks wrong. But like with anything I will admire his intestinal fortitute to "Customize" a brand new vehicle. Sometimes they turn out and sometimes you screw the pooch and end up selling it on Ebay.

Nice try ... but no cigar :shakehead: Two tone paint and red wheels just don't fire my rockets.

I guess I must be a rebel or somethin' .... I didn't realize that it was a signature R/T thing ... So if a woman wears tall boots all the way up to her _, does that mean that she's a hooker? Ok, maybe that's a bad analogy ...

True statement, Taz. I think their exclusive to the likes of the R/T & SS (Chevy). But of course you see rally stripes painted on just about anything now daze. I thought it would be cool to design something a bit more original, maybe even exclusive to the Nitro. But so far I haven't had many brainstorms (maybe a few brain farts). HV has come up with a cool one, retro to the old Charger or SuperBee (I think).

Maybe something along the lines of the 1969 RoadRunner? ie; a little Taz at the end of the swirly stripe up the side??
