Well, I have been lurking some and posting some and have been trying to come up with some ideas on what to do with my Nitro as far as some custom car audio stuff. I am an installer with over 25 years of experience and run my own car audio business here in Germany. Just getting started here actually. I have been looking at places to mount things or to custom build an enclosure etc. and have decided that I will build a center console of MDF and fiberglass and hopefully squeeze a 12" sub in between the front seats. I am currently in the middle of doing a major install in a Dodge Ram extended cab at the moment and will take my console out after it is done to start the new console. I will be running all JVC Arsenal equipment and use the stackable option of their amplifiers. I will post pics as I do the install, I promise. The reason for trying to save space is that I have a 4 year old son, a 16 month old son and a son on the way in July so I have to have space for strollers etc. LOL!!!! I also have some plans on 20" Keskin wheels soon as well but have not decided on black with the polished lip or silver with the polished lip. See pic.

Been busy
Well, I have been busy with my regular job and then doing my install business on the side and have not had any time to work on my vehicle. I hope to start on the sub enclosure and amp rack cover this weekend. I will get pics and post them. I am hoping to convince my wife into getting my deck this weekend to put in. If not I may just add hi to low converters and keep the factory radio/DVD/Changer and make the best of it.

Well, my wife does not like the wheels and wants something uniqe so we are waiting before we go 22's just yet. I have however got my list of car audio stuff together except for the head unit. I hope this attachment works. I have been very busy with other installs and this stuff hopefully we be going on order in a few weeks.

A security system is only a deterant. If someone wants something bad enough, they will still take it. As far as the trailer hitch joke, It has a 2.8 CRD with a Turbo. It makes enough tourqe to haul around the system when I put it in LOL!!!

Update on the system install!!
Well, I cut the list down some to save some money since we have our 3rd boy on the way in July. Money is tight, very tight. I managed to get a heck of a deal on 2 Kicker Solo Baric L7 15" subs and am going to finish the box hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I am debating right now on using Kicker amps or Hifonics amps. I will pick up the converters soon and wire them in. Once I carpet the box and put it in I can decide on where I will install the amps and fabricate the racks for them. Not 100% sure where I want to put them yet. The box takes up 3/4 of the rear cargo area. The box is ported and has 3 cubic ft. of air space per sub. Should hit very hard. I promise I will try and get some pics on here soon. Have been very busy with a new baby coming and working my full time job and doing installs on the side.

I started looking at the console and the only thing that would have worked would have been an 8 inch sub. There is not as much room as I thought. As for sealed, i am building another box for the 15's that will be sealed so that I can switch it out if I get tired of having no space. The bandpass box would require as much room as a bass reflex setup. I will post pics, do not worry. I have had some very crazy ideas but am limited to only one vehicle so I cannot tear the interior out and do what I would like. It will still be unique I promise.

I was concerned, but the wife said do it. We are going to get another vehicle soon for other travel needs so it will serve as the grocery getter and what not. I am building a removable tray to go up top with a cargo net etc. It will be unique. There will still be enough room for some things. I would like to see some pics of that Monte you have. Post them up.
