anyone have a problem with the auto up windows. just today my front passenger window does not go up all the way. when i put it up with the auto thing from fully open, the window goes half up and then stops and goes back down. the only way i can shut it is to not use the auto window feature and use the button normally

For your windows try this it may remedy the problem, if not the dealer will have to perform further diagnostics.

Window Express Calibration For Vehicles So Equipped (BOTH front window switches labeled
AUTO):

1. Turn the Ignition to the Run position.
2. Regardless of current window position, move the driver’s window upward until
the window stalls in the full up position. Allow the window motor to stall for
at least 2 seconds before releasing the switch.
3. Move the driver’s window downward until the window stalls in the full down position.
Allow the window motor to stall for at least 2 seconds before releasing the switch.
4. Move the driver’s window upward until the window stalls in the full up position. Allow
the window motor to stall for at least 2 second before releasing the switch.
5. Repeat step 2, 3 and 4 for the passenger’s window.
6. Verify the windows learned the calibration by operating the express
down and up features on the windows. :)

Always fuss with the fuses first, service tech second

NitroTech

I noticed yesterday that my auto up was not working on my drivers side window. The auto down worked fine, and holding the button in the up position worked fine.

Today, having forgot you posted this procedure, I raised the hood and went for the fuse box. All that I did was jiggle M26 back and forth with my finger tip. The widow now functions properly.

I would have pulled the fuse out and put it back in, but I couldn't get a hold on it without a fuse puller, so I resorted to rocking it back and forth.

At the time, all I remembered was this post, #6.

hey HV i'm not sure if you have found this yet or not but there is a fuse puller just to the left of fuse J11. the reason i found this out is monday i just picked up the R/T i ordered. that nite when i got home i tried to use the auto up feature and my passenger side window would go halfway up by itself then go right back down. i took it to the dealer and guess what? when i get there it works like its supposed to. so i leave and go home and when i pull in the driveway i try to roll the windows up it does it again. guess i'll have to make another trip to the dealer cause i tried the fuses and also the calibration trick nitrotech talked about in the auto up/auto down window thread and neither have fixed it. well at least i found the fuse puller from all my trouble! guess i could always use the fuse puller to pull my windows all the way up!!!
