I want to purchase the cable for my Ipod nano that will go into the aux jack in my Nitro. I dont care about integration of anything. All I want is something that will play my Ipod through the car speakers. Does anyone know what the cable is called and/or how much at say...a Best Buy?

Ok, I went to bestbuy and they didnt have that cable. I did however find a 6' cable, which is kinda long, for 13 dollars which I bought. It is made by Dynex, a generic brand, but it should do the job.

iPod connected or..........DVD

Instead of connecting my iPod, I just copied all my songs from the iPod to my laptop and then burned them to a DVD (don't have too many songs yet on the iPod). I then put the DVD into the radio and got instant access to all my songs without any wires making a mess of my radio's looks.

Just a thought for you to consider. This also lets my control changing the songs with the steering wheel controls. Don't know if that is possible to do with the iPod connected to the AUX, but I don't think so.

Happy Nitro-ing!

Yeah Corsair....any of the mini-jack cables will work as Lilsalmon said. I've probably gone through 3-4 different cords in mine (kids always steal 'em to run their Ipod in their home stereos).

I've gone to just picking up the inexpensive ones from radio shack that are like 3.99 I believe.

As for what Bearly said, I think a couple of guys have wired their cables through the dash so it doesn't "look" all messy in there. I've been considering that option as I have my ipod mounted on the dash. At 4525 songs I am no longer at the burn a disk option.

Darn near have this 30G filled. I knew I shoulda bought the 60G! ;)

Well I have over 400 songs so I would need to burn about 20 diff CD's for that option. I do have a few CD's that I burned, but I would like to have all of my songs with me instead of 20 at a time. O and just for the record, it is impossible to transfer songs from an IPod to a PC.

Actually he said "DVD" not "CD". I have over 1100 songs on one DVD. With a 6 DVD changer, thats a lot of songs.

For the record, it is not impossible to transfer song from an Ipod to a PC. One viable solution to doing this is using software by a company named "Red Chair Software". The software is called Anapod. You can review it at their website if you choose. I hope this helps if you were looking for a way to transfer songs back and forth between your PC and an Ipod.

I might have to look into that, because a while back, I had to completely reprogram my computer and in doing so, lost all of my Itunes songs, but I still have them on my Ipod. I would like to have them back on my PC.
