I do apologize for disappearing without notice, and seeming probably to be a pure slacker. I've been fighting to finish my job before a layoff imposed while I compete in the recruitment for the permanent version of my job -- deadlines, overtime, overload, stress. I've let everything else go by the wayside for weeks.

I've missed being here, missed all of you, and now I have at least 2 weeks of unemployment to recover, so I'm back! And jeez you've been busy, I now am overloaded with all the reading I need to do to catch up!

Anyhow, love you, miss you, and I apologize for being lame!

So far, my highest hope is to get the one I've had but on a permanent basis. I love the place and love the work, and that's a big deal. I THINK I can measure up to the competition, unless there's something funky that I don't know about.

I will probably do some consulting during the coming month while I wait and do house chores and try to sell the stuff that I emptied from my condo and stuffed into storage, etc. OH! AND .... I'm gonna get my brake calipers painted, YEAH! Nothing like being unemployed as an opportunity to spend money! <right? is there anything wrong with that thinking? LOL >
