I know that Nitros gas guzzle a bit. What are the proven ways to improve milage right out of the gate? I drive about 1000 miles a week.

I heard an increase of 3-5 mpg when you go with a free flowing exhaust.

Our local news station recently did tests on all sorts of add ons, inserts, filters and fluids costing under $100 and found that one of the best ways to increase mpg is thru proper tire inflation and slow acceleration off the line. After testing 100 cars at random, only 11 had proper tire inflation! Of course over or under inflating your tires causes them to wear out quicker (tire replacement costs are another expense to consider)The EVIC is only a reference for pressure and mpg...using a quality pressure gauge will give u the truest readings.

I have not noticed a mileage improvement with the drop in K&N air filter, but think the exhaust system changes to less restrictive pipes and mufflers do make a difference. The biggest factor is the nerve responses between the brain and the right foot.:Racing:

Wow, 1000 miles a week!!!! I would consider buying a 3-cylinder diesel and use that for work and use the Nitro for other things. The diesel will pay for itself !!!!!!!! :smileup:

LOL nice ! Yeah I drove behind a large truck before but to bad it was only going around 60 instead of 70...
