I was just wondering if anyone had a good method or product to remove splattered bugs from the front of vehicles. The best I have come up with is blasting them with a high pressure hose, mixed with a little elbow grease.

I am open to ideas and suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Wax helps

A good coat of wax makes then come off much easier and before that you can use a bug&tar remover but I find WD40 works well then a good cleaner wax , I like Maguires products but there are many good ones ;) (A good tip I learned a few years ago about waxing is to use only Terrycloth or microfiber for wax removal , undershirts and too soft cloths like baby diapers can leave fine scratches also Rainx helps on the windshield bugs come off easy)

Pledge

After you clean the Nitro, slightly spray Pledge (product use for wood). After using the Nitro pass a micofiber cloth to remove any bugs (living in Central Florida will be lovebugs). That's what I do with good results. Is tour option.

Like everyone has said keep the front end waxed up good......

and you can go to any auto parts store or any store that has an automotive department and buy "bug & tar remover". Takes all the rubbing out of it and it would be better on the paint in the long run than power blastin' it every time you get BUGGED! :4-jump2:
