Does anyone know if a CAI is available for the CRD Nitro? I heard that the CRD engine is fussy about the air input system (don't know if that's true).

Hi Tim, I suppose one of us should remove the air box, for a test run, to see if there is any adverse effect.

I disconnected mine, and ran at idle,induction noise sounds mean. Not game to drive around like that thou.

The stock exhaust is also tuned pretty well also.

Looks like you could do trial and error tests with a pod filter and a small length of tubing.Then use seat of pants dyno,crude, but if nothing else, could sound mean.

Yeah I figured that - I was hoping the European and Oceania crowds here may know.

I was led to believe a Cold Air Intake for the 4.0 V6 RT fits straight on the CRD. Since the throttle butterfly is in exactly the same position.

Denied theres lots of nobbly air sensors that don't fit.
