Hey Now,
I am planning on getting the daystar 2" lift kit. But before I do I know many members have already done it to their Nitro's. So I wanted to get some feed back on ride quality, prices, or expeirences good/bad anyone has had with the daystar kit. Also It is for sale on ebay with shipping it is around $170.00 does anyone know if Ii is sold cheaper anywhere else? Thanks in advance

The question is, are they brand new from the manufactor? I paid $180 for mine and they are brand spanking new from the manufactor. I plan on doing it myself here on the 15th of June. That way I know exactly how to do it. I almost broke my arm if it hadn't been for my 3 year old son reacting quickly.

The ride quality is the same, just higher up. Unfortunatly when I got mine directly though Daystar is when they first came out. I paid $325.00 for my kit. The only issue I had were when driving over a speed bump the rear shocks would very slightly bottom out. They say you can use the stock shocks as I did for 9 monthes. But I did swap my shocks out for some Skyjacker extended shocks. Which there were no listings for nitro, use the 07 jeep liberty 2/3 inch extended lift shocks. Keep in mind also that your center of gravity is higher and should be driven more carefully too.

I ordered my Daystar lift through the local 4 Wheel Parts store for $179 with shipping. Love the look and just had to stuff some bigger tires and new wheels to fill up the well a little better (265/65-17). Rides exactly the same as before, but like jeffrey750 said your center of gravity will be a little higher so you'll get a little more lean when turning at higher speeds.
