Yes. I drove w/o a front shaft for a week when the dealer removed it and I was waiting for the new one to come in. No problem.Everything felt tight, the old one was extremely bad, so being it didn't have a vibration before, but does now. Seems wrong. Going to take it try unhooking front yoke, and turning it 180 and bolt back up. Might need to pull back off and look at everything.
If I take it completely back off, I'm going to see if it will drive without it. Making it just a 2wd.
Any experience doing that?
The O2 sensors are a royal PITA to get to. Especially the driver's side forward sensor. If it seems more of a problem than it's worth. I'm going to pull it off then, and 2wd it
So far I have:
Changed out tipm 3 times
All the Coils, and spark plugs
Both cv axels, driver side 2x
Lost use of radio
Having to put clock spring in, waiting on delivery
Right rear trailing arm
Upper control arms, both sides
All 4 o2 sensors
Ac compressor 1x, needs again
Maybe injectors
Driver door controls
Oh I hear you. I've done the same with mine between parts and tools over the past 3 years. But I intend to keep it--and it's become my hobby--I enjoy wrenching on it, upgrading it, babying it, so I don't mind spending on it--it's not something I'm trying to profit from financially--just enjoy using and working on and learning with--so worth the cost.Becoming a money pit, with only 1 more year of payments, lol.
I can never sell it, I have 2x the value in it and counting.
