Hi Nitro owners, here is a question for the wise. I just washed my SLT through a Touch-less Car wash and came away dismayed. I am not sure what has happened, even the dealer is confused. The main body of the Nitro is clean, but has a few streaks on it (they do come off with a clean cloth and water) but all the door handles look like they have been splattered with grey paint. The body shop at the dealer tried every recommended cleaner (short of using a solvent that could damage the handles) and nothing touched the staining. Has anyone heard or seen damage like this, and if so how to I go about removing the stains. What I am left with right now is to replace all 4 door handles as it seriously detracts from the beauty of the Nitro.
Any help is welcome.

Gray update

I did talk to the car wash and they discovered something very interesting. They have an automatic solution injector for the bug spray that they apply just prior to entering the wash. Apparently this automatic station was running all over the place and injecting up to three times the recommended amount. It looks like I received the heavy dose and it stained the door handles. Thankfully the car wash and the chemical company is going to pay to replace the damaged parts.
A note to all, be very careful when using commercial car washes. It would not be a bad idea to ask them how often they monitor the solutions in their stations.
