Okay boys and girls I took the leap and bought the CGS motorsports exhaust.

It arrived today and it looks AWSOME!

The install will be tomorrow with pics and comparisons between factory and CGS set up.

I bought it on the 4th of july for $280.00 shipped from godfathers.:D

Okay guys and girls the system is on..

1) sounds GREAT:D..its sounds like a nissan 350Z stock exhuast does..but with a little more deeper sound. its not intruding in to the cabin.. if your not talking or have the radio on you can hear it inside the nitro. But if you have a intake like me they work well together, vary well. The loud nitro engine bay ROORRA sound when you smash the pedal is gone. All of the sounds from the engin bay are now at the back of the nitro now, like it should be..

2) Looks Great .. almost sleeper'ish.. the tip is vary Nice!

3) this system is VARY LIGHT IN WEIGHT!!. once you have the factory set up off.. the wieght between the two is a huge differnce..

4) install was not easy buy any means:eek:..You have to remove the spare tire and heat shield then remove the rear hanger ( its held inplace with 2 bolts its easy to get off).. then you need to take off the factory swaybar end link to get it out.. this install ttok some time... again it wasnt the easyiest system to put on but it is great when your done..

5) I paid 280 shipped for mine and i have the 4.0L :Racing:

Ill get better pics but my camera was dying sooo hear are theses ones so far.

I was looking into the CGS catback exhaust a while ago too. I have their Cold Air Intake, and I am very happy with it. I assume that adding their exhaust would be a nice pairing. :thk:

One of these days I'll have some extra money to go ahead with it. :chuckle: For now, I'll have to live through your experience! :D

Nice job! I'd love to hear a sound clip now too, I'm getting the itch to get both the exhaust and CAI now. I just need to work on my sales job.
Haha, ON...speaking as a woman, economics works with me. ;)

CAI and exhaust produce better flow for the engine. Better flow means better gas mileage. No need to also mention the Nitro will no longer be a totally unresponsive slug. :chuckle:

And worse comes to worse, you give your wife some money to go and buy something nice...something she's always wanted. My hubby bought his stainless steel exhaust for his prelude and I bought the new king-size four poster bed frame! :D

Yeah, I expect that's the type of bargaining that will go down. My "toys" always end up costing me three times the price in ancillary costs.
