if you don't have the money for a whole new exhaust... this is what I did.
there is a HUGE muffler under the mid section and a pretty big resonator at the tail. I can't afford to do a whole new exhaust right now (baby on the way!), so I just went and cut off the resonator. I replaced it with a section of pipe with a turndown tip. cost me all of $20, and I can actually notice a difference. the volume inside the car didn't go up
but you can actually hear it running from behind now. and I noticed a little bit more ooomph on the highway too...
