I think my tranny fluid may be low. It won't shift out of first gear. It's a 2011 Nitro heat with 18000 actual miles. It sat for just over a year in a garage before I bought it. I've been driving it up until today. Everything seemed fine. Help Please !

Welcome to the forum @Owner. When you have a chance, head over to the Newbie Section (<click this) and say "Hi".
Tell us a little about yourself and your ride.
That way we can welcome you all proper like.

If there is a major issue the Nitro will go into "limp mode". This is to prevent any further damage.
Do you have any lights on the dash, or error codes?
