Hi all

I just found out that Dodge have issued a recall on the 20" chrome clad wheels over here in the uk. They are taking them in and "refurbishing" them, a friend of mine has just been issued with the recall notice.

Took them long enough mind!!

i thought the actual problem was the salt they use on our roads and probably in the atmosphere around here

Im curious to know what happens when they take your wheels to refurb, Do they put on a replacement set while the originals are being done or something?

Some of my Friends here also did a Powder paint on their 20"-Rims.

Nevertheless, I just read the Rumor today, that there will be a Recall (or CSC? Customer Satisfaction Action).

when my wheels where change last month the dealer said the wheels had two years warrentry starting from the last time the wheels where changed , so back to the dealer when the wheels look crap

Sorry guys I wont get the recall as I got my wheels changed for the mopar ones under warranty, I'll see if I can get a copy off my buddy though. :smileup:

Hi Hammy is their any chance of getting a scan or some details of the recall?

I called the stealerships yesterday n they said theirs no recall on any wheels and they wouldnt recall them either coz its not a safety issue and everyones wheels will be dealt with on a single basis if you have probs with them.

I couldnt really argue much with them sayin " oh someone i know got a recall letter lol " even a recall reference/number would help i think.

Hi,I have just had my 2nd set of Mopar wheels,before that I had 6 sets of the chrome clad wheels,The dealer has swapped them no problem every time.

hi guys, i have not had my nitro long (only 2 weeks) but i have already polished my wheels 5 times, i love the high shine chrome look, but the outer rim is starting to flake and look a little tatty,
what is the problem the dealers are changing them for?
just thought i would ask on here so i have some amo before i speak to the dealers...
