Just had all 4 of my 20" chromes changed via the warranty...did not have the option of the Mopar ones, but the new set look great. I assume the outer ring will corrode again which is a real shame.

Bluescott, when you go into the dealer they will take photos of the flaky area and send to Chrysler UK Warranty dept to evaluate. I had the same issue with mine and they replaced them. If there is any road rash from hitting a curb, etc the warranty is void.

Cheers!

hey guys, i am still having problems with dodge replacing my wheels,
i started another thread about my long winded story of how they said they will replace 3 or them, but wanted a 50% contribution towards the forth wheel. (cant find that thread just now, so on here to update)
i have been onto the locat paper and they are taking on my case for me
so heres hoping i will get a nice new set for free.
ohhhh Hammy? did you ever get a copy of the recall letter? that would help my case big time.
if you have got it could you maybe bring a copy on Sunday?
cheers

thats a shame you had to pay 50%, i had a tiny tiny scratch on one of my wheels and they wanted me to pay 50% towards it, i jumped up and down, with no luck, but as richard said i sent an e-mail to the judge in the sunday mail, and next thing i knew, dodge where all over me, doing everything they could to keep me happy,
so on Tuesday i got a nice new set of wheels, and a new side indicator replaced free (under warranty)
and i just ordered a polishing mop for them, and trying to get my hands on some meguiars plastx, well i can try and keep them safe from the scottish winter.

and as to your sliding in the wet, yeah it happens to me, but the traction control does sort it out quick,
i dont think this is a know problem with them, i think its just the amount of tourqe that goes through the back wheels that causes it.
the only other thing i can think of is (have you checked your tyre pressures)?
if they are hard then that might not be helping. set the at 32-33 psi, and see how you get on.

cheers

Hi All
Despite regular washing during this winter my chrome clad wheels have developed black corrosion marks around the outer alloy rim. I also have a little leak that drips out of the trim above the parcel shelf to the left of the reversing indicator unit. My question is what do the Startech wheels look like and do these wheels fair any better.
All the best
