I am looking to find a place to replace the plastic on the mirrors, back bumper, and the side vents to chrome. So far I haven't found anything. Does anybody have any ideas?

The only add-ons I've seen on ebay are..

Chrome Bug Shield (eh, if you like the way it looks, our winshileds are flat, so it may be a hit)
Chrome Side Mirrors (personal preference, I was all into them, now I'm kinda over them)
Chrome Door Handles (not a good choice, imo)
Chrome C-Pillars
Chrome Truck Landing Strip(just a little piece at the bottom of the door)
Chrome Lowers
Chrome Door Sills

and probably some other misc chrome stuff.. these are all injection molded ABS plastic pieces designed to stick on with 3M tape, no replacements.

I just ordered Mopar fuel door. Before i order this item, i have a look on how it could be install. Seems to be hard. Isn't it ?
Did someone have some information (or better...pics !) on how to replace this part ?

Hey kyu67, changing the filler door is about a 5 min job.

All you need is a torx wrench (#25 I think).

Remove the plastic tether that holds the gas cap to the filler door.
Remove the two torx screws.
Take old filler door off and replace with new one.
Replace 2 screws but do not fully tighten.
Close the filler door and make sure you have an equal gap all the way around, adjust if necessary.
Fully tighten screws.
Replace tether to new filler cap.

It's that easy.

Post pics when it's done....

I got my brand new chrome fuel door today.
Installation is very easy (thx to Roxy -women ever first-, AdamC and Canadianlimey).

For the change, i do what CanadianLimey says, step by step. Simple even for a graphic designer like me. Just one thing : its not possible to have equal gap all around. I try and try and try many times... Will post pics as soon as possible (very bad weather today in France and now its 11pm). Anyone an idea ?

Hey kyu

I'm glad you found my step by step easy to do. As for the equal gap all round you have two options.

#1 Get it as close as you can and leave it or
#2 Slot the holes with a file in the bracket in the direction you need to move the filler door. You will need to prime and respray to stop it from rusting.

I'd get it as close as you can and leave it. Mine isn't perfectly central either but you can only tell if you look closely.

Hey CanadianLimey/Graham

My brother works in a CarCenter and tells me same : slot the hole, etc... But i thought there is another solution. I try *1 a long time without success...
I know we cant have perfection with replacement parts.
Hope than today weather is better, so i can take some pics to show you.

Think i will do *2. Thank you Graham !

Say Limey my friend, in step 3 you say to " take old filler cap off and replace with new one ", are you actually talking about the filler cap or the filler door?

to F45 :

I read a lot of things about door handles, and lots of them are not very good.
BUT...i really think its not so bad as all says. Quality seems to be very good (waiting in time), and the look is amazing.
To complete "little" paint problems, i had to go back to my dealer who can see this parts. Says they look very nice....and ask where i bought them.......:chuckle:

This part doesn't cover totally original handles, but turns around just as it must. At this time i'm very happy of my purchase.
