Has anyone installed the MOPAR locking gas cap and the associated chrome cap enclosure? I don't want to drive to the city that I got the R/T from JUST to get the mud flaps and gas cap stuff installed. I just want them to mail them to me and I can install them if it is too difficult. Thanks for any info!
Black R/T.... just passed 1000KM (Canada EH??)

I'm pretty sure the fuel door is a snap to install. I asked my dealer to put it on for me so it would be all ready to go when I drove off. The thought never even occured to me, but there was an installation fee. If I had it to do over again, I would have just done it myself. Not sure on the mud flaps, but I doubt it's something you and a buddy couldn't do in an hour or less. Good luck! :)

I Did both the mudflaps and the Chorme door no problems. I haven't seen the locking gas cap but I am sure that there's nothing to install that. I'd say the more difficult of the two would be the mudflaps and I'd probably rate that as a 1-2 out of 10 difficulty.

Oh by the way there are pics in my gallery of both.

having the dealer install the gas cap depends on which locking gas cap you get

i have the gas cap that uses the ignition key to open it.......with this cap the dealer has to key the cap to use your ignition key

if you get the standard cap it uses a seporate key, all you have to do to install it, is unclip the teather and snap in the teather for the new cap

i like the cap with the same key as the ignition as you dont have to worry about having another key on your key ring or worry about ever loosing it (if you loose you ignition key you are definately screwed)

but from what i see with the locking cap it fits with clearance to the stock filler door and should fit with clearance to the chrome door, as i would assume the chrome door is the same thickness and shape as the stock door
