I don't know if this has been discussed before, apologizes if I missed it(I did a scan of the mod forum) but I modded my caliber to have an all chrome grille for $15. It has the same cross bar grille as the Nitro..chrome crossbars with black insides.

I got the adhesive chrome which comes in a roll at my auto parts store and cut them to size and put them on the grille. Drove it for over a year with out any peeling or deterioration.

I'm thinking of doing the same to my Nitro. And possibly adding the stainless steel or chromed nerf bars down the side.

Not everyone loves the all chrome look but this car had all the chrome accents to it..the gas cap, handles, chrome strips, etc.

Well shoot, nevermind! LOL After seeing your pictures though I'm definitely going to go ahead with that mod on my Nitro too. It looks great!

yeah i just got my "chrome grill kit" from ebay for 35$ shipped when i couldhave shouldhave wouldhave gone to pepboys and got the chrome fender trim for >15$ , but i must say once i installed it it looks pretty dam good.I just added my front lcd tv fiberglass pod for the empty space above radio and tapped into the factory flip down screen.My magnaflow bolt on exhaust will be here in the morning I wish i could post pics to get ya alls opinions but i cant figure out how ????

vdubbinnitro you go to Dodge Nitro Pictures Gallery and then my albums and create one for yourself then under actions, upload pictures locate the ones you want to post under Browse and click Upload/submit then you can click copy to clipboard go to a post and click edit and paste! ( Waldorf must have a better description someplace )

I built it out of polyester foam,glassed it w/ 4 layers,faired it with evercoat filler,primed, then painted with textured flat black and misted some clear on it to match the factory dash texture and color...the actual tv picture is crap though so now im in search of another 5" tft lcd screen.but it works for now...

maybe sometime in the future I can make a mold of it and pop out a few, but now i am restoring a couple of my boats so i can sell them,restoring my first car also my 67 vw bug, on top of trying to do these little mods to my nitro and work and,and,and!!! I just think that the behind of some of the headrest monitors are ugly with the wires etc,thats why i built this pod and because i did not not want to put in my aftermarket kenwood touchscreen as i like the factory radio just fine...laterz
