I was wondering if the cold weather will cause damage to the screens in my Nitro. Should i let them warm up before i try using them?
are you referring to the MyGiG and/or VES screens? I don't know the answer to that question as I haven't had my Nitro during the winter weather yet. I would assume they would work just fine. Let us know how it works for you.

I've been wondering about that too. I've been leaving my GPS in at night now that it's getting colder. In the morning it's been working as usual though, at least so far it's been OK. :wavey:

LCD screens will not be damaged by use in the cold. However they may not view as clearly when very cold as the liquid between the glass gets thicker and this changes the way the crystals align. This effects contrast and causes "lag" in video motion.

You will not however hurt anything by using these in the cold.

As the car warms up that will go away
