:bsflag:well my hubby brings home this mag today that says the nitro was not fun to drive, low in reliabillity, rated 33 on road test out of a possible 100, but the the rav4 got a 77....wth? what does body integrity mean...it is below average. and alot of blahblahblah....who writes this stuff? are the athiests against the nitro or am I taking this too much to heart?

I am looking at the # of members here and we are over 2000 strong and how many of us say it IS fun to drive!!

well back to the thread the other day about other ppls opinions....I LOVE MY NITRO and consumer reports can bite my big 'ole texas butt!!!

Consumer reports is junk science. They are inaccurate and probably have no business dispensing consumer "advice" based on inherently flawed methods.

CR is very biased when it comes to reporting cars. Look at any Chrysler product (not just the Nitro) and they tear it apart. BUT look at any Toyota or Honda and it is instant love. I am not saying that Toyota and Honda dont make nice cars but Chrysler also puts out some fine autos and they shouldnt be castrated by these guys. The video of the Nitro on consumer reports.com absolutely hates the Nitro from one end to the other. OH well I buy what I like and will be a proud owner of a silver RT tomorrow.
