Yes today is my cruiscontrol finnaly activated by the dealer.
i bought one from ebay (new)
but i has to be activated by the starscantool
And now it working fine !:D

So the story that it is not possible to ad cruiscontrol is NOT true !

My SXT does not have cruise control either ... I'll have to consider it!

I checked into it also with my local dealer, he stated that if I installed it myself I would have to bring it in to run the scan. What I notice on the eBay sales ones was that they did not have a column cowl, the dealer kit comes with a pre cut cowl. Also I was not sure about my warranty. Would it be considered a dealer addon if I did it.

Either way thanks for the info. I surely will add cruise control. The dealer parts guy offered to match the eBay price (around 185.00) though I would have to pay at least 1.25 hours for service rates fo rthe install.

To install the cruisecontrol was for me 15 min of work most time it took was te remove the airbag. it was easy to cut the hole in the steering wheel, i used a knive.
The dealer need only max 5 min to enable it if he know witch menu it is on the starscan !

This install would make a great How-To with Pics.
But I'm not sure you want to take it apart again to get the Pic.
