Hello, Newbie here!
I was wondering if it is possible to ad cruise control to my nitro? Is there a kit or can I just order the parts required. It has been my experience that most wires are in place for most of the options so I was hoping I could purchase the servo and control buttons and be all set? But that would be too easy...
Where are the factory controls for cruse anyway? Steering wheel?

Sorry guys I have the information from my dealer. YOU can not add this to the nitro. I know this because my dealership where I got my Nitro from really screwed up my order. They bascially delivered the wrong option package to me. I ordered the 24c package which came with the cruise and fog lamps and tinted windows. the car they delivered did not have any of those things. I told them that I would keep this one only if they can put in the options that I was missing. I got a new nitro from them because chrysler would not release the part meaning the cruise control. Being that it is a new model they could not add it in. Something to do with the programming of the computer the software was not out yet as an ad in. At least that is what my dealership told me. the cruise control is attached to the stering wheel.

Sorry to disappoint you.

:i_rolleyes:

Yep it's not available. I sell/install cruise kits and there's nothing out there yet. You can't add a generic servo style one because there's no throttle cable. The good news is that when there's something made for it, it'll be plug and play--no major wiring or mounting of anything. I do them on many GM vehicles and usually with in about 20 minutes I'm done!!!

Hi from DrTaz

Hey SeanS ... nice to see you as a new member. I'm sure that you'll have lots of questions about your new ride. Any mods planned other than the potential cruise control?
