Copied from my post in another thread:

Spoke with my local dealer today. The Dodge website shows a Black R/T with mygig at a dealer in the Toronto area which I was trying to buy through my local dealer. My local dealer states that it was brought in on order for another customer, even though when I spoke with the T.O. dealer he never mentioned any of this, only that the RT was on the show room floor. I have suspisions that smoke is being blown up one of my orafaces...

After spending most of the afternoon doing inventory searches on the dodge website, the closest other Black RT with mygig is in alberta :shakehead: ...

I have a feeling my frustration has only begun...

Update:

So I called the T.O. dealer as a prospective customer, and they were more than eager to sell me thier R/T. I then told this to my local dealer, who cursed the T.O. dealer, after some name calling he said he would give thier manager a call... and that I should "just go there and buy it". However I have a deposit down at my local dealer since they assured me it would be no problem to aquire it from the T.O. dealer...

I thought the name of the game was to sell cars, I dont see what the problem is, I choose to deal with my local dealer, they have an RT to trade the other dealership, but they cannot seem to co-operate with one another. In the end they are both going to lose me as a customer...

who knew trying to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a car would be such an inconvenience...

frustration is one tactic that dealers will use. Anticipation is another. If they can get you worked up enough, you will be more likely to take a deal that is offered you. Keep your eye on the ball and make the best deal you can and stick to your guns on the price that you have decided upon. You will get one, patience will be your best freind and will keep you from being taken advantage of. I waited 4 months to the day to get mine, and you should have seen all the offers that came my way. I waited it out and got it well under invoice. Good luck.
