There were some readers of a post called "Northwest Guys & Gals."That had expressed an interest in details of a roof rack I had made. So rather than Hijack that post, I created a new post regarding this in another part of the forum. When I posted a post in this section regarding the questions and added a link, I thought I was doing everything correctly.
Now my post in this forum has been moved... To where, I do not know. I checked my user CP and there is no explanation.
Please tell me what I did wrong so I will not make the same mistake again.
Thanks

Roof rack Detail is this the one? A moderator or admin may move a thread to a more appropriate location , we try to keep things grouped into sections I don't know who moved it but don't worry its just keeping the forum tidy :)

You posted that you had a thread in the custom exterior mod section in the general section. You double posted so I moved the general section post to the Abyss. Your thread in the Custom Exterior thread is fine. I should have PM'd you, sorry! Double posting causes clutter and we are just trying to keep the clutter down and the forum easy for all members to find what they are looking for! My apologies for not giving you the head's up:eek:

Thanks for the Explanation. So how should I have let the people here, know that I had answered there questions in another post?

you don't need to start a new thread to do that. that's considered double posting which is against the rules, yes.

Thanks again for the explanation. It won't happen again.

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
