Welcome to the forum Black Dynamite. When you have a chance, head over to the Newbie Section and say "Hi".
Tell us a little about yourself and your ride.
That way we can welcome you all proper like.

Not real hard to do if not a diesel Nitro. The 3.7 filter is up front and hard to get to. I found the best way to reach it is by laying feet under the engine and reaching forward.
The 4.0 is very easy, on the passenger side.
Pull the drain plug from the oil pan. After it is done dripping replace the plug. Pull the old filter, make sure the rubber ring is still on it. (discard). Use a little new oil to Lub the rubber seal on the new filter. Install hard hand tight. Fill with correct oil viscosity and amount., Start engine, run for a few minutes. Shut engine off, Check for leaks and double check the oil level. Fill as needed.

Depends on your engine. Being a 2011 I would use what is recommenced in the owners manual.
