Hello everyone,
my name is Werner from Germany and I'm new here.
I drive a Dodge Nitro 2008 KA, 4WD, 2.8L diesel.
After replacing the battery 1 year ago, the radio failed.
The only thing left on the display is "Turn ignition to run". Error codes: B1403, B1407, B140B, B140F! I've been searching the web for a year with no results. No workshop could help.
But there are other problems, such as: Error code C2202 (ABS electronics replaced and VIN re-entered!) Fuel gauge suddenly failed (tank removed, potentiometer measured and wiring to TIPM OK!) ESP/BAS lights up permanently. RDK rear left flashes in a cluster although the pressure is correct.
Performed activities:
The PCM was 2x for testing. TIPM ordered and installed in USA. Various lines checked and especially the ground connections!
Lateral acceleration sensor renewed. Have the software imported several times with "Witech" at the dealer. Parameterized several times TIPM for Europe/Germany. The reason for this is: I disassembled the TIPM from the USA and carefully soldered all the press-in pins because the low beam only worked by hitting the TIPM. In fact, 1 press-in pin was loose in the PCB (TIPM connector C2/pin 17). After reinstallation, the low beam was o.k.
So thats it.
I am asking everyone out there for help and perhaps primarily an answer to "Turn Ignition to run"!!!! The programmer of this text must have thought about something!

Greetings Werner
