Hi, Doble H,

Recalls are controlled by "Kraftfahrtbundesamt" (Federal Office for Traffic). Sometimes it needs some months to be officially distributed...

But that is not the Problem. It is in the Chrysler Computer with all necessary Repair Procedures (TSB) and Doing the Repairs is released. So it is makeable, but there are just no Spare Parts available.

I call them every week since four weeks.

And (Off-topic Modus on) there are four other Issues, but I want to have it fixed in one Visit.
- The Bag around the Parking Brake is defect again
- The 6-shift-manual Transmission needs to be set up, it's hard to shift in the lower shifts
- Anti Corrosion Protection is separating, needs to be reworked
- Roof Rails have to be changed again
First 50000km (nearly 30000mls) I have a "Flat Rate" for all Repairs and regular Inspections and all Spare Parts etc (incl Refill of Oil, but excluding Tires). Now I am 47000km...
(Off topic modus off).

My first nitro had this the problem descibed in this recall. We were on a four hour road trip two hours each way. It rained heavy whole way there and the whole back. When almost made back the wipers gave up. The would occasionally. The dealership replaced the motor and about a month later the vehicle was totalled.

hey peeps, here is the image of the work that was done for the recall of the wiper relays.

can not say if the fuse box had any changes as I do not have a reference of it.
Just had this done today.
They removed the Wiper fuse (J20) from the TIPM in my rig, as well as adding the above 2 relays.
I posted the Recall notice here. It is kinda large, so not good if you are on dial-up (2.84 MB).

Look up Recalls for your DODGE NITRO HERE!

Here's a useful link to look up all the recalls required for your VIN number: http://www.dodge.com/en/owners/ :wavey:

Just type in the last 8-digits and click one of: USA/Canada//Mexico... and you're in.

Sorry, no similar link on the Dodge-UK site...
How come I tap that link and it takes me to buy a car

The link will take you to Dodge's web site. Once there you will need to create an account(You will need your VIN) Once logged in you can view all kinds of info about your rig.
If all you want to do is check for recalls, go here.
