Door hinge spring

Hi guys.
Does anybody know where I can’t find a door hinge spring to the driver door. It’s just the spring I need.
It feels like I’ve searched all over the internet but I can’t find one🙄

I have the same problem and figured replacing the hinge (with a spring already in the hinge) is the best way to get that "hold open" feature back. I looked for just the spring for a while and I even if I did find it, I don't think it can be compressed back into the hinge with it installed.

I found a video on YouTube where a guy shows how to decompress the spring and hold it compressed with “zip ties” and then remove the “zip ties” when the spring is in place

I bet this hinge has broken roller, way too much rust.

At least he'll have the spring. Maybe the roller on the existing hinge is okay? I'd be interested to know if zip ties would hold that spring compressed. Although unbolting the door doesn't seem too bad - it's only 4-8 nuts.
in the past 1 of my hinge rollers got seized, soaked it in oil then worked it back and forth with some mole grips, it eventually freed up, must admit it was well stuck, it was corroded like the 1 for sale, but it has been fine since,
Tip:
clamp it in a vice and make sure it works ok before you install it, not easy to work on it bolted to the car,
